I was thinking that Chicago was going to just skip right over Spring. But alas, the weather is starting to get some act right. FINALLY! And with the warming temperatures, I was feeling more playful…on my nails, at least. I started by chopping them off which is always like a fresh start and always seems to make nail art more fun for me. I am also seemingly way more productive. Then…..

He has got to be one of the biggest Chicago Bears fans EVER! I mean, Bears logo EVERYWHERE…. EVERYWHERE.

So, as I finished his manicure… complete with matte topcoat, he allowed me to have some fun and tolerated some nail art. Smile

And now we can add a new location for his Bears logo: his fingernail!

For him this is definitely extreme “fan-dom”, but I think it was kinda hot. #DaBears Smile

I purchased it with the specific intent to stamp it over black! It was everything I hoped for. Everything I dreamed it would be.

Coupled with my new Bundle Monster Plate (BM- 213), I couldn’t be more pleased.

Apparently the majority of the great designs require this horizontal line thingy. I’m going to just have to keep practicing. It’s so much work. But eventually it’s going to be easy for me, and then y’all ain’t gon’ be able to tell me NOTHIN’!!!!! lol *cue Kanye music*(link) nuh unh you can’t tell me NOTHIN.

As expected, I have some shaky stripes going on…. but at this rate, I may have super straight lines by Christmas. Smile . I attempted a silver glitter nail art striper on my left hand thumb nail, but decided it was too much and actually detracted from my love of the design. Sometimes less is more. A LOT of times, less is more.
