I have had these strips for a while, but I wanted to wait until my nails were longer so I wouldn’t feel like I was wasting over half the lacquer strip. LOL.

Sephora by OPI – Trend Tips “Cherries”
I didn’t even have to use a nail file with these. They are so easy to use. Very low probability of mistakes with these! You’ll love them. Now, let’s see how long they last. How well they wear. 
This was my half-way reputable attempt at the manicure phenomenon that is the “Half Moon.”
Umm, these are WAY harder than I thought. I’ll have to practice my reinforcement sticker placement. My half moons are ALL OVER THE PLACE. LOL. – But y’all know how I feel about “tape” manicures. “Hated them.” Still do.
But I do like my color combination.

Today I was “inspired” to copy this manicure….. but my memory failed. so instead of this:

For whatever reason, in the light, the color picks up only the “blue”… but this is what the color looks like in real life: Definitely green.

So, I forgot the horizontal white line, and I think my dots are too small and it’s green, not blue. Next time I’ll look at the picture beforehand. LOL. 
I had a really nice day with my Mommie today. 
I am so happy to have my mother and my aunties. I do miss my grandmothers.
I felt compelled to have a special manicure today. A Mother’s Day special.

Pretty pretty pink. With flowers . Seemed totally apropos for a Mother’s Day event. My Mommie really liked the flower…. and the flowers I gave her. So, it was a good day.

Vacation!
I traveled to Grand Bahama Island…. Freeport, Bahamas. It was absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed every wonderful moment on the Our Lucaya Beach.
I didn’t have a chance to upload my vacation nails before I left. I thought this color would be nice against the sun and sand.

Has gold glitter running all through it that showed up far clearer than I anticipated… Very pretty and it remained my base color for the foolishness that is “accepting Audrey’s challenge.”
I don’t even know why I respond to Audrey. lol. She obviously doesn’t even understand fear…. this time she did CHERRY BLOSSOMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (pic). Did them well!! And then had the audacity to expect me to try them?!?!?
FIRST OF ALL, I didn’t even want to do cherry blossoms. Once again: TOO DIFFICULT! I think they are so very pretty. But even when I lived in DC, I had to stay away from the Cherry Blossom Festival. Too many people and ENTIRELY TOO MUCH POLLEN…. And, now, as a nail art design: complicated…..
…but far be it for me to not even TRY…. so…..

The line SHOULD have been tan, I know…could have been tan…. but I wanted to use the orange nail art polish I saw in my stash….. so I did. lol.

…then came Audrey 
. She inspired me. Her leopard design came out SOOOO nice (pic)…. I felt challenged after she seemed surprised that I was scared…. so I finally worked up some nerve and…..

I love this orange. I’m already a huge fan of orange…. I heart this color so much. I had to “test out” the design first. lol. Still hesitant and SCARED!
After it came out okay… I tested out the rest of my nails.
I like it. I’ll try it again. Definitely.
