I hate the formulation of “White Out”. It’s horrible and it takes FOREVER to dry. “White on White” is SO much better. Can someone explain to me why the company messed up the one polish?? SMH.
And I got a little topcoat careless and streaked some of my precious dots on my pinky fingernail. GOTTA pay better attention. 
I was perusing some YouTube videos…. with no expectation. Saw this video for a striped gradient by xoJahtna. I got inspired.
I’m pleased.

My hand felt like a model on location, in the city. lol. My nails fit right in with all the lights and traffic. All I needed was to really go out.
…it was Autumn.
The temperature just bounced from a beautiful, breezy 78 degrees…..
…..to a dry (low humidity), WINDY 55 degrees.
I need a coat, a scarf and gloves. Right Now!
So, I went with antique Autumn.

I am loving these sponging gradients. I did the typical horizontal one….. just looked “stripe-y” to me…. so I applied it diagonally. And I love that look so much more.

Though I don’t really do gems on my nails because of my (self-diagnosed) tactile OCD, I loved the design. So, I had to do my own take on the manicure that involved nothing I could easily yank off my nail. LOL.

So I did my celebratory nails… complete with confetti and a few tiny streamers on accent nails.
I used a no-chip gel polish this time! La Palm Gel II’s – “Out of My Way” as the base color…
…and my wonderfully beloved polka dots in acrylic paint. ( I heart dots!! forever).
I have planned a “do NOTHING” day. Two hour massage from my favorite massage therapist, a triple venti soy caramel macchiato from Starbucks, a cupcake from Sprinkles…. and then kicking up my feet for a pedicure…. then seriously kicking up my feet to just chill.

He has got to be one of the biggest Chicago Bears fans EVER! I mean, Bears logo EVERYWHERE…. EVERYWHERE.
So, as I finished his manicure… complete with matte topcoat, he allowed me to have some fun and tolerated some nail art. 
And now we can add a new location for his Bears logo: his fingernail!
For him this is definitely extreme “fan-dom”, but I think it was kinda hot. #DaBears

That’s what Julep said… and I’m going to go ahead and take their word for it. I agree.
I finally took the plunge and became a Julep Maven.
Julep – “Eva” & “Sienna”
The formulation is incredible. And I love the colors in my first Maven Box. I could get used to this polish. Quickly. The foil polish “Sienna” might be the best and shiniest foil I’ve ever used, with the simplest application and perfect opacity. This bottle will get emptied soooooo fast. I could wear this all the time.
I haven’t yet tried the Pedi Crème, but if it’s anything like the polish, I’m in for a treat. The directions boast “noticeable results in just 1 to 2 uses.” I’ll let you know what I think!
The picture on the informational materials (the leopard platform heeled sandals) most definitely swayed my design plan. CLEARLY! lol
