gelish – “Little Princess” w/ gold leopard spots
Sheer no-chip base color makes this design just neutral enough. Then there is that spot of gold to subtly jazz up my design.

I still absolutely adore dots! I don’t think it will ever change.

I love this “Evolution of Smooth” lip balm. Pictured is the “Summer Fruit” one….. but I’m desperately searching for the Limited Edition “Fresh Watermelon” one. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. LOL
Ever since I saw the Jay Z mini- movie during Game 6 of the NBA Finals, I was obsessing over Pharrell’s cap….. and his style.
Everyone can’t do this!!!!! That hat is EVERYTHING! …and now so are my nails!

w/handpainted daisies in acrylic paint
Decided to snap a pic of my natural nails, just plain… au naturale….. and before I re-polished them.
I think I like my nails. I’m giving them the chance to grow out a little bit. I did a gel polish manicure this time just so I would leave them alone for a few days (fingers crossed that I’ll make it through an entire week though. lol)
gelish – “Jet Set” w/black nail gems
…as coined by Angela. It is the perfect description of my manicure design!
Marbling just looks incredible. It’s artwork on my nails!
gelish – “Sweet Morning Dew” & “Sea Foam”
marbled on a base of “Sheek White”
I thought I was taking a break from no-chip …. but I guess I’m back to it. oh well!
And my hands need a spa manicure… they are looking worn. LOL. I must be working too hard.
I was feeling kinda low-key for my manicure.
This is perfect for those who work in extremely conservative environments or whose personality is just more classic and lower key. I’ve heard the term “grown-up nail art” thrown around a bit lately…. I think this design and color coordinate fits the bill.
gelish – “Medieval Madness” & “Sheek White”
Well, my “regular” polish phase ended abruptly when I purchased new gelish no-chip colors this week. It’s sad that I have polish ADD. I really don’t know how people WANT to keep the same polish for two whole weeks. LOL.
So I did my no-chip manicure… let’s see how long I can keep it. This will definitely be a challenge. I give myself until Sunday before I absolutely have to remove this and change the polish.
gelish – “You’re Such A Sweet-Tart” w/ “Twinkle” (on the nail tips)
[no-chip polish]
Valentine’s day leopard fun….

Breast Cancer Awareness month.
And so…….
This is a no-chip polish design, so hopefully that will curb my urge to change it up so promptly. I love pink.
I “designed” my left hand, and my super duper wonderful colleague nail technician/educator Lashawn created my right hand design. I am now in LOVE with foils like the ones on my ring finger (right hand). Guaranteed to “bling up” a manicure – INSTANTLY! It’s hard to resist the shiny stuff . And she does a most incredible French manicure, as evidenced by my sassy pink pinky nail.
Save the tatas!!!!
It’s my birthday!!! Yayyyyy!!!
So I did my celebratory nails… complete with confetti and a few tiny streamers on accent nails.
I used a no-chip gel polish this time! La Palm Gel II’s – “Out of My Way” as the base color…
…and my wonderfully beloved polka dots in acrylic paint. ( I heart dots!! forever).
I have planned a “do NOTHING” day. Two hour massage from my favorite massage therapist, a triple venti soy caramel macchiato from Starbucks, a cupcake from Sprinkles…. and then kicking up my feet for a pedicure…. then seriously kicking up my feet to just chill.
Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me!!!
