I got some really kind compliments on these dots. Dots never fail to make the best impressions apparently. 🙂
It’s been a while since my last post, but I have been taking care of my nails. I wore this beautiful red for a solid 2 weeks!!! AND with no design….. can’t even believe that.

Sheer no-chip base color makes this design just neutral enough. Then there is that spot of gold to subtly jazz up my design.

I love this “Evolution of Smooth” lip balm. Pictured is the “Summer Fruit” one….. but I’m desperately searching for the Limited Edition “Fresh Watermelon” one. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. LOL

Decided to snap a pic of my natural nails, just plain… au naturale….. and before I re-polished them.
I think I like my nails. 
I’m giving them the chance to grow out a little bit. I did a gel polish manicure this time just so I would leave them alone for a few days (fingers crossed that I’ll make it through an entire week though. lol)

What a predictable nail art day. Gotta get some creativity going.
Even still, I love these colors. A robust and orangey red and a golden-ish shimmery frost.
OPI – “Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It” & “ Up Front & Personal”
I feel drawn to the most drab, split pea, baby poo green nail polish colors. LOL
Like I HAVE to use them because #1) No one else seems to want to use them and #2) I have to prove that the color is really not ugly!
I love this color! ha ha It’s like a murky chartreuse with a shimmer in the finish. I pretty much nullified the shimmer with my dots though. oh well 
.
OPI – “Don’t Talk Bach To Me” w/ acrylic paint dots 
It actually feels like it’s the same time of year as Carnaval…. just in a different location. It feels like February in Chicago. You wouldn’t believe we are about 2 weeks from SUMMER! I need the temperature to rise.
This design just put me in the mind of some Brasilian festivities….
